Christmas: 2020 Style

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! We can’t thank everyone enough that supported us this first season, during a pandemic, in the midst of uncertainty and the unknowns – THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

The holiday season is our favorite as it’s commonly spent with family, on a little bit of a slower pace, enjoying the bustle of the Christmas season. Our kids get a couple weeks off from “school” and we normally spend a few extra days with extended family. Well 2020, in the year where most everything has been different, we are trying our best to cling to those traditions while being safe.

For the past almost decade, our family has always gone and cut down a fresh tree from a local Christmas tree farm. This year wasn’t going to be any different!

This tradition is one we always cherish and part of the reason we started this venture. Kokomo doesn’t offer many local options currently. Growing up in Kokomo, our family never cut a tree as a kid; we always supported a local fundraising lot or bought from a big box store. I didn’t know any better until I moved to Lafayette and married my husband. And now we’d love to pass that tradition on to you…

Our farm doesn’t have trees big enough this year for U-Cut yet, but maybe in 3-5 it will. Until then we will continue to support other local farms and deliver you fresh wreaths, evergreen posies, and DIY bunches.

Holiday Joy From The Pine & Posey’s Workshop

Crafted from a variety of Scotch Pine, White Pine, Douglas Fir, White Spruce, and Arborvitaes, our workshop has been busy creating holiday spirit. We hope our holiday items cultivate joy this Christmas for you!

Our Fresh Evergreen Wreaths come in a variety of styles and can be dressed up or dressed down to fit your holiday decorating aesthetic. The Festive Traditional Fir or the Peaceful Traditional Pine are the perfect evergreen backdrop for a candle centerpiece, advent wreath, window hang or simply displayed on a hook in the hall. Add lights or your own decorations to create one of your own masterpieces. All our wreaths come in two sizes to fit your needs – Smallmeasures 14″ across or Large 24″ across (standard size for a door). We’ve added ribbon and a combination of a few decorations to create a few options that are ready to take home and display as is. Any of these can be ordered in both small or large sizes – Angelic Gold PineWoodsy White MixModern Red FirReindeer Red Mix, and All the Trimmings

We’ve also created Holiday Evergreen Posy Centerpieces, ready for you to display on your table, shelf, mantle, etc. These Posy Centerpieces come in two sizes/shapes – Rectangle posy base measures 18″ x 6″. (great for a dining table or narrow entryway or shelf), Square 9″x9″ at the wood base (great size for a square table or larger display layered with its rectangular counterpart). The wood bases are natural wood color.

The wreaths and the centerpieces are made from fresh evergreens and contain no water but have been sprayed with wilt guard to stay fresh and last throughout the holiday season!

We are also selling DIY Evergreen Bunches for you do-it-yourself-ers. Do you want to create a fresh garland or have a box, vase, or dish at home you’d love to use for a Christmas display? Don’t buy a separate whole tree, we offer bunches of loose greens to add to your holiday decor. Buy a bunch of White PineWhite SpruceDouglas Fir or Scotch Pine or better yet, a variety of a few, and enjoy “sprucing” up your home this season. Our bunches include 6-8 limbs of a tree and are $10 per bunch.

Custom Orders

We’d love to help you decorate for the Christmas season, let us know how we can help! We have a variety of ribbon, decorations, and evergreens – so just ask. All of our “ready-made” wreaths and centerpieces can also be customized. If you’d prefer a different ribbon or no ribbon or more/less decoration, we can do that. Send us an email and let us know!!

Shop Online, In-Store, Or At The Farmstand

From the convenience and safety of your home, you can order our holiday products from our online store and we will arrange a time for you to pickup at the farm while never getting out of your vehicle. We will load your items and wish you a Merry Christmas all from a distance while you stay in your vehicle.

You may also find our products inside the Kokomo Downtown Farmers Market Store & Cafe this season. If you like the tangible side of shopping in-store here’s your chance to go as many times, as often, and at you convenience to shop downtown in a brick and mortar store. Our wreaths hang in the front window and will mark the spot to be. The Market Store & Cafe is on located at 119 W. Sycamore Street, in downtown Kokomo (on the northside of the courthouse, next to Healthy’s). The downtown store is open Monday – Saturday. Inside the Market Store, directly welcoming at the door, next to the refrigerators, you will find a display will Pine & Posey’s items.

We will also be opening the Farmstand a couple times this season. We don’t have a permanent structure (yet!) and with the cold/snowy chances in the forecasts this time of year, we will only be there a couple hours at a time.

Farmstand Dates

  • Friday, December 4, 2020: 4 – 6 p.m.

  • Saturday, December 19, 2020: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

As we’ve stocked the Market Store with a variety of products, if you are wanting something specific make sure you contact us ahead of the farmstand and let us know – we will make sure we have that item stocked for you. If you’ve browsed our online store and want something customized, please let us know – we’d be happy to create the perfect holiday item for you! We prefer payment via cash or Venmo but cards are accepted too.

Check our Facebook for more details on our availability each week before you head out or for updates due to weather (or ahem…COVID)!
